How Solar Hot Water Works

Firstly, solar collectors are installed on your roof, which capture energy from the sun. Then we install a tank on the ground to hold your hot water. Our solar water systems are split systems. This means your solar collectors are located on the roof of your home, while your tank is mounted on the ground. The solar panels are connected to your new hot water tank. The sun heats the water passing through the Solar panels which is then transferred to the tank. Now, your hot water system needs less energy because it only has to heat water that’s already warm or even hot. And even if the sun isn’t shining, you will still have hot water, because your solar hot water system is connected to an electric or gas booster.
